Schoolhoused lap steels come in two styles — using either new wood or the Schoolhoused 200 year old Douglas fIr (priced accordingly).
The body pattern is based on a 1930’s shape and scale length.
Pickups can be matched to your personal preference, and custom installed. I’m currently using a stacked Seymour Duncan P90 with a push-pull tone knob (coil tap) for selecting single coil or humbucker mode.
